About the site8 questions
What is SacBoyz Signals?

SacBoyz Signals brings sport-specific model estimates, available sportsbook prices, and game context together so fans can examine a market and make their own call.

Who is behind SacBoyz Signals?

We built it out of a love of sports and a belief that fans should see the numbers and context behind an analysis, not just a pick without an explanation.

Who is the site for?

Sports fans who want to explore probabilities, prices, and the factors that may affect a game or player market.

Is SacBoyz Signals a sportsbook?

No. We do not accept or place wagers, connect sportsbook accounts, or process betting payments.

Will SacBoyz Signals tell me what to bet?

No. We provide information and analysis, not personalized wagering advice. Any decision to wager is yours.

Is the site free?

Yes. SacBoyz Signals is free through February 2027. We plan to introduce paid access when baseball returns in March 2027; check /about/ for updates.

Do I need an account?

No account is required to browse the current site.

What is the 2027 Founding Member List?

It is an email signup for first word on our March 2027 plans and any early-subscriber offer when details are ready. Joining does not guarantee founding membership or pricing. See /founding/ to sign up.

Sports and markets10 questions
Which sports can I explore now?

MLB, NFL, and college football. What appears on each page depends on the schedule, available market data, and the latest published release.

Which sports are coming next?

NBA and WNBA are marked Coming Soon. We have not announced launch dates for them.

What does the MLB page cover?

Depending on available data, it may show game and first-five markets, player markets, first-inning outlooks, home-run probabilities, and no-home-run outlooks. Not every section has a priced selection on every slate.

What does the NFL page cover?

Depending on available data, it may show game lines, player markets, and separate Anytime Touchdown and First Touchdown tables.

What does the college football page cover?

The CFB page covers full-game spreads, moneylines, and totals. It shows model estimates beside recorded sportsbook offers, with game context and sourced market information in Details when available. It does not currently cover college football player props.

Why don't all markets appear for every game?

The model, event, player, or matching sportsbook offer may not be available for that market. Coverage also changes as schedules, lineups, roles, and prices change.

Why are the sports analyzed differently?

Each sport and market has different drivers. MLB may depend on pitchers, lineups, and ballparks; NFL may depend on player usage, injuries, and game script; CFB currently focuses on full-game team outcomes. Relevant weather and market context are shown where available.

Are Anytime Touchdown and First Touchdown the same prediction?

No. Anytime Touchdown asks whether a player scores a touchdown during the game. First Touchdown asks who scores the game's first touchdown, not its first points. They have separate estimates and market context; compare each with its matching sportsbook offer.

What is the Home Run Probability section?

It shows available player home-run estimates and, where a matching offer exists, a price comparison. Check the player, selection, and price in the row and Details.

What is a No Home Run Outlook?

It estimates the chance of a game having no home runs. When no matching sportsbook price is displayed, it is an unpriced outlook, so no price-based edge is implied.

Understanding the numbers14 questions
What is a signal?

It is an analysis tied to a defined sport, event, market, and selection and, when priced, a particular line, sportsbook quote, and observation time.

Is every row a recommended pick?

No. A row may be a published play, a model outlook, or market context. Read its status and Details rather than treating every displayed number as an instruction to wager.

What are Top Plays?

They meet the sport-specific model-value conditions explained on the relevant page. CFB also uses a recommendation score that may include limited confirmation from sourced betting splits; those splits do not change model chance or edge. Some MLB and NFL specialty, alternate-line, and higher-volatility markets are excluded from Top Plays.

What does the caution symbol mean?

Open the caution beside a selection to see a specific risk worth checking, such as limited playing-time evidence or a problem matching the quoted offer. Routine assumptions stay in Details. A caution does not change the estimate or price, and a negative model edge alone does not mean the data is wrong.

What do Available, Model Review, No Signal, and Unavailable mean?

Available has a current validated record to display. Model Review lacks a condition needed for publication. No Signal means nothing currently meets publication conditions. Unavailable means required data or release evidence is missing or failed a check.

What is model chance?

Our estimated probability for the exact selection shown. It is an estimate of uncertainty, not a promise that the selection will win.

Does a very high model chance mean an outcome is certain?

No. Even an estimate near 100% can be wrong. Review its line, assumptions, player role, injuries, and data-quality notes, especially when a number looks surprising.

What is model difference?

Model edge or model difference is model probability minus the break-even probability at the displayed price for the same selection. We display this difference with a % sign: 60% minus 50% equals +10% model edge. It is not a 10% hit probability, relative improvement or promised return. Supplied push and void assumptions are included.

What does a negative model difference mean?

At that displayed price, the model estimates less chance than the price requires to break even. It does not mean the selection cannot win.

What is estimated value or estimated return?

A calculation combining an estimated chance with the potential payout at a particular price. It describes a model-based expectation, not the result of one wager.

What is fair price?

The odds equivalent of a model probability. It is a comparison reference, not an available sportsbook offer.

What is break-even probability?

The chance required to break even at the displayed price under the applicable outcome rules. Pushes and voids can affect that comparison.

Why do the line and selection matter?

Over and Under are different outcomes, and changing a yardage or strikeout line changes the bet. Compare an estimate only with an offer for the matching event, player, market, side, and line.

What is a push or void?

A push typically returns the stake when a result lands exactly on an eligible line; a void cancels a wager under the sportsbook's rules. Check the particular book's settlement rules.

Data and updates11 questions
Are the displayed odds live?

No. They are recorded snapshots. A sportsbook can change or remove a line after we observe it, so verify the current offer independently.

What does quote observed mean?

It is the time the displayed price was recorded, not a promise that the price is still available.

How often does the site update?

Production refreshes are scheduled three times a day. A run may be delayed, take time, or fail to produce a publishable release; the sport page's Updated time tells you what actually reached the site.

Why does the page still show an earlier update time?

A scheduled run may not produce a new release. The previous release can remain visible rather than being replaced with incomplete data. Check the page's Updated time and the game and quote dates; older details may be labeled Historical Field Report and are not current plays.

Can I see early lines for upcoming games?

When suitable games, estimates, and offers are available, upcoming markets may appear. Always check the event date: early prices, starters, and player roles can change.

Can an estimate appear before a starter or lineup is official?

Sometimes. Projected inputs can support an early outlook, but they should be identified as projected or unconfirmed. Do not assume a listed starter, lineup, injury status, or game-time weather is final.

Why is there an estimate but no model difference?

A model estimate needs a matching sportsbook quote before we can calculate a price-based difference. An unpriced outlook should not imply an edge.

Why might I see different offers for the same player?

Sportsbooks can post different prices and different lines. Those differences matter; open Details to check the exact offer and any other available comparisons.

Do line movement and betting splits change the model probability?

No. They add context when sourced information is available; CFB may also use limited split confirmation in its Top Plays score. Neither changes the displayed model chance or edge. A money-versus-bet share gap is not proof of professional bettors.

What does Sharp delta mean on CFB?

It is the money share minus the ticket share for a side. A large gap may support or oppose a CFB selection, but it does not measure how many professional bettors took it and does not change the model probability.

Where does the data come from?

Sources vary by sport and market. /about/ explains the approach and names several sources; sport-page Details shows available supporting context. No single source supplies every field for every selection.

Results, navigation, and help9 questions
Where can I see past performance?

Visit /performance/. A meaningful record needs the exact market, selection, line, price, quote time, result, and settlement rule; we do not turn incomplete records into a broad win-rate claim.

Do past results predict future winners?

No. Results describe past observations under particular conditions. Prices, injuries, roles, opponents, and other circumstances can differ next time.

What will I find in Why this play?

A quick read of the projection, listed line and price, key factors, and important cautions. Recent performance stays close by. Open All stats, sources & model details at the bottom for the complete report, including missing or unconfirmed information.

Can I search, filter, and sort the tables?

Yes. Top Plays is the default; choose All Plays to explore the rest. Sort by Model edge or Projection, highest first. Projections stay grouped by market so different units are not compared. Unavailable values appear last; no-home-run projections use model chance. More filters holds bet type and price choices. These controls only change what you see and its order, not the underlying estimates.

What does Build My Slate do?

It narrows the board to selected games, teams, and a time window. Search and bet type still apply. It changes your view, not the model estimate or sportsbook price.

Where can I find articles and site updates?

Visit /insights/ for longer-form stories and /updates/ for customer-facing changes and known limits.

How do I report a wrong price, missing player, or site problem?

Email [email protected]. Include the sport, page or selection, what you saw, and what you expected.

Can support make a betting decision for me?

No. Support can explain the site or investigate an issue, but cannot provide personalized wagering advice.

Where can I find responsible-gambling guidance?

See /safety-and-policies/. Only wager where lawful and at or above the legal age in your location; set limits and never chase losses.
