Editorial and data methodology
How we describe sources, estimates, updates, and corrections without overstating what the available data can support.
Source and timestamp context
A current selection should identify the event, market, line, sportsbook, and quote time. Sport-specific inputs may come from schedules, rosters, lineups, injuries, usage, and market data; missing or stale inputs are disclosed rather than replaced with invented values.
Model estimates versus explanation
A modeled probability is distinct from a sportsbook price and from editorial context. Explanatory text should describe relevant factors and uncertainty, not turn an unvalidated estimate into a recommendation.
Updates and corrections
Prices, player status, and event details can change. Readers should verify the latest source information. Material errors should be corrected in the underlying release before a revised page or selection is published; a past quote is not rewritten as though it were current.
Information and educational context only. Check current event details and sportsbook quotes independently; no outcome is promised.
